Seeing this, the kind elephant thought,
“I must help my friends. They are thirsty, and I have the strength to do something.”
So, he decided to carry water in his trunk from a distant river and pour it into a dry pond near the forest.
Day after day, the elephant brought water, filling the pond so all animals could drink. Soon, the forest came alive with happy animals. They thanked the elephant for his kindness and celebrated together.
But one day, a hunter entered the jungle and set a trap. The elephant got caught and could not free himself. When the animals saw this, they remembered his kindness. They quickly worked together – the rabbits chewed the ropes, the deer distracted the hunter, and the squirrels alerted everyone.
Finally, the elephant was free! Tears of joy rolled down his eyes as he said,
“Thank you, my dear friends! Today, your kindness saved me.”
